Our 4 Days Rwanda Chimps and Canopy Walk Tour will lead you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. The forest is home to the Chimpanzee and is said to have survived the Ice Age era. The chimpanzee is man’s closet relative said to share up to 98 % of the human DNA. They are social and intelligent species. The canopy walk was built in the park suspending over the 70 meter stretch above the trees of the thick forest Canopy.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Albertine Tours representative who will transfer you to Nyungwe Forest National Park, en-route you will visit the Nyanza province. It was a place of the former King of Rwanda. The architectural design of the palace is one of a kind. Arrive in the afternoon for check-in and relaxation at the lodge. Dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
You will have a morning breakfast after which you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers. You will be at the park center by 6:00 am in order to drive to the visitor center. It takes 2 or more hours tracking chimpanzee, and an hour is allowed while with the primates. You return to the lodge and an afternoon Canopy walk you will enjoy a walk above the well-built trail in the sky. The below look of the forest is a great experience, you will be amazed by how the ever green trees of the forest look. Return for dinner and stay overnight at

Day 3: Black and White Colobus Monkeys.
Have a morning breakfast or tea and re-assemble to the park in search of the large troops of the Black and white colobus monkeys. These seem to be tucked in and in uniform. The Angola troops tend to live in large numbers. It is a beautiful adventure to encounter. There are possibilities of meeting other primate species like the blue monkeys, and vervet monkeys. Return for relaxation at the lodge for an optional guided nature walk.

Day 4: Departure to Kigali
Following breakfast and your flight transfer, you will have a brief city tour in Kigali town, and then catch your international flight back home.
