 Verified Feedback regarding Mr. Robert....our Driver cum Tour Guide This is KC Gupta from Mumbai, India. We visited Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi during August'23. Here we met with Mr. Robert who were our tour guide cum driver throughout our 10 days trip to these nations. He was an excellent driver and guide.  Verified Memorable experience It was a nice and memorable experience taking a safari to Akagera National park and visiting Kigali city centre with Robert. Robert works for the Albertine tours, a reliable company with dedicated staff and committed to their task.  Verified Amazing trip from Kibu Lake to Akagera We decided to take a 3 days tour, since we didn't have so much time and we wanted to see 'everything'. Frank picked us up and from that moment we got really into the culture and rythem of the jungle. Not only the views and the food and the people, but also the conversations were so interesting. We felt we knew Frank since forever. We, my wife and my 5yo kid visited the rain forest, and spent a whole day in Akagera and we would do it again.

 Verified Akagera day trip Simon was our guide. He was punctual and generally a nice guy. The road conditions in the park were not ideal due to rainy season. The guide was reluctant to continue on to savannah road due to conditions. We pleaded that we knew that is where most animal spotting took place as we had been there before. The first 2 hours in the park is always sparse due to the bush. It was a long day and we could tell he was tired. All in all it worked out great after a chat with guide. He even stopped at the viewpoint for us.

 Verified gorilla trek driver We had a gorilla trek arranged through world safari and Robert was assigned to be our driver. he was very competent and punctual. he knows about history of rwanda and culture and was an excellent driver. there are some rough roads he had to take us through in the land cruiser. we also went to genocide memorial and shopping. he is a patient and taciturn man who also stay ed with us for the 3 and half days we stayed at the lodge while doing the trekking. a very nice man. thanks, Robert!

 Verified pleasant and conscientious guide for Gorillas We had the privilege of having Robert Mukwaya with us in Rwanda from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We changed some of the plans mid way and he was able to accommodate. He was always cheerful and happy and responsible. We felt taken care of and safe on his watch. He has such a great rapport with the guides in the parks, they obviously liked and respected him too. Robert was always early to meet us and happily waited until we were ready to go.You would be lucky to have him show you around Rwanda.

 Verified Truly wonderful guide in Kigali Robert was such a perfect guide for the two of us on our adventure to see the gorillas. He was incredibly punctual (and, also, incredibly kind when we were running habitually late), very knowledgable about the surrounding area and just generally a very smart and nice person to spend our time in Rwanda with!  Verified Amazing Rwanda! I travelled solo/female to Rwanda in November 2018. All my travel arrangements were made through Lion World Travel as an extension to time in Tanzania. I feel extremely lucky to have had Robert Mukwaya as my driver/guide for the 5 days I was there. Really more of a friend and companion on this road trip to Volcanoes National Park. Always looking out for my best interests from the moment he punctually collected me late at night at Kigali airport. Willing to share the culture and history of Rwanda - including all my questions about the genocide. Made sure I had an awesome Ranger on both my gorilla and golden monkey treks. I loved my time in Rwanda in great part because of Robert. I would not hesitate to return and explore more of this amazing country with him.

 Verified Fantastic Tour Guide! I spent 4 days with Robert Mukwaya in Rwanda - he was the perfect driver/guide/companion for my trip. After touring Kigali (including the Genocide Museum, which was powerful and touching), we drove to my lodge by Volcano National Park. On the drive, Robert gave me a fantastic orientation to Rwanda (my knowledge about the country is limited to the genocide) - Robert is very knowledgeable, candid, and very easy to converse with. At the Park, he introduced me to a fantastic ranger/guide for the trek into the Park and then drove me to the departure point. He was ready upon my return, and took me back to the Lodge, offering up various adventures for the afternoon (I elected to stay in and nap a bit). While Robert was always ready to answer my questions and educate me about his country, its people, its government, and its history, he could also sense when I just wanted to sit and think and take in the surroundings. I can't recommend him and Albertine Tours more highly.
