Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Drive to Volcanoes National Park

Start your journey with a Kigali city tour, including Nyamirambo women’s centre, Kimironko local market, and the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre before proceeding to Volcanoes National Park. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park
Breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters in Kinigi for your gorilla trekking practices, which include gorilla family allocation and briefing, then embark on your drive to your assigned gorilla family start point. Hike into the forest in search of the gorillas and, once found, spend 1 hour with them taking photos and listening to the park guide’s explanation about the habitat, characteristics, and their daily activities in their home range. Thereafter, return to the parking area and be transferred back to your hotel/lodge for lunch. Later on, visit Iby’iwacu cultural village for traditional performances.
