Bird Watching in Rwanda

Bird Watching in Rwanda is a popular tourist activity because of its incredible bird population. Referred to as the “land of a thousand hills,” this breathtaking nation is home to breathtaking indigenous species of the Albatertine Rift Valley and, despite its small size, is reported to have a higher concentration of birds per square kilometre. There are around 300 bird species in the national park, 20 of which are Albertine endemics. Nyungwe Forest National Park is one of the most significant birding locations in the nation. The Kamiranzovu, Gisakura, Bigugu, and Karamba paths are among the best places to observe birds in Nyungwe.
