Day 1: Pick Up from Kigali International Airport
Depending on your arrival time, you will be picked up by our Albertine Tours driver-guide and driven straight to your booked hotel in Kigali town.

Day 2: Kigali Sightseeing and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, meet your guide and start your Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Genocide Memorial site at Gisozi. Enjoy lunch before setting off for the drive to Volcanoes National Park for accommodation.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, meet your guide and depart for the Volcanoes National Park offices for a briefing about the gorillas, allocation of a gorilla family, and introduction to your guide. Thereafter, drive to the starting point and head into the tropical rainforest to track the mountain gorillas, starting from where they stayed the previous day until you find them.
You will find the gorillas carrying out their daily activities, including feeding, climbing trees, and relaxing. Take your best photographs with the flash switched off. The whole exercise takes a maximum of 1 hour, after which you will return to the hotel for lunch and some relaxation.
You can go for village walks or visit the Gorilla Guardian village for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 4: Dian Fossey Hike and Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast in the morning, embark on the drive to the park office, where you will be introduced to the park guide before proceeding to the Dian Fossey hike at Karisoke Research Center.
Dian Fossey was an American anthropologist who spent years researching and conserving the gorillas. She is buried there next to Digit, her favorite silverback gorilla. After the hike, return to the hotel for lunch.
You will then drive to Kigali and be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight.
