This 7 Days Uganda Safari Holiday starts and ends in Kampala. This trip involves a wildlife tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha where tree climbing Lion and big 5 are found. you then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee in Cyambura Goerge and Mgahinga Gorilla Trekking for a Life Time Experience in East Africa.

At Entebbe Airport, you will meet our representatives and set off on the south western part of Uganda but it will depend on the time you fly in. On the way see the royal drum makers; stand on the Equator and be in both hemispheres at once; and bargain at the roadside markets for fruit and vegetables. Continue to the escarpment overlooking the Great Rift Valley – an unforgettable sight. Time permitting we will visit the Tropical Bee Care Centre to look at their range of community projects from bee keeping, honey making to the community nursery for children. Descend to Queen Elizabeth National Park, keeping an eye out for the wildlife. Overnight at Mweya / Jacana.

Go for an early morning drive to seek out wildlife, rest during the heat of the day and then go for an evening game drive. The Kasenyi plains support large concentrations of wildlife especially lion. The area around the seven crater lakes in the northern hills are very scenic but wildlife viewing is erratic. The Mweya peninsula is usually good to see the large mammals, bushbuck, waterbuck, and elephant, as well as the unusual giant forest hog. Leopard may also be seen in this area. Overnight at Mweya/ Jacana

An excursion to Kyambura gorge nearby to track the fast moving and elusive chimpanzee’s one of man’s closest relations. The chimp population is quite mobile and viewing is unpredictable. The walk in this “lost world” is nevertheless enchanting. Alternatively go for a nature walk in Maramagambo Forest. This forest harbors some unusual species like giant forest hog, pygmy antelope and giant elephant shrew. You can also visit the bat caves and the blue lake. In the afternoon a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which is especially rewarding for viewing a variety of animals, . Overnight at Mweya / Jacana.

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Via Ishasha home of the tree climbing lion and if time permitting, go for a guided nature walk. Overnight at Bwindi Lodge.

After your breakfast at Lodge, drive to park office for briefing and gorilla tracking follow, walking up steep densely forested. In this thick and humid forest you almost have to cut your way through the undergrowth but finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring moment after tracking you will be driven back to the Hotel for Lunch. Overnight and Meal Plan at Bwindi Lodge (FB).

On your way to Mugahinga Make brief stops at places of interest including Kanaba Gap to view the dramatic Virunga volcanoes and beautiful terraced hills. You can either continue directly to Mgahinga, or make a detour to Lake Mutanda. Here you may take a gentle stroll on the lake shores whilst watching local life if weather permitting, take a canoe to Toyo Island, before continuing to Mount Gahinga. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight and Meal Plan at Mount Gahinga Lodge (FB).

In the morning go gorilla tracking again, Mgahinga is located in the northern side of the Virunga mountains ranges, alternatively you may decide to climb Mountain Muhavura, Mountain Gahinga, volcano, or take a nature walk. Overnight and Meal Plan at Mount Gahinga Lodge.
