Detailed Itinerary.

DAY 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Experience the beauty of driving north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and, travel to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino Project. A visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must. If you love safari, you’ll love exploring and visiting Murchison Falls National Park. Meal plan: Lunch & Dinner.

DAY 2: Full Day Murchison Falls.

After your cup of coffee, be guided to what arguably one of Africa’s most authentic game safari experiences, spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.
After lunch, don’t miss the boat trip upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”.; it’s the perfect way to see crocs basking on the banks while you enjoy a sundowner. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

A night game drive night drive to track or view nocturnal animals from an even closer perspective. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Driving through the remote areas in to Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 4: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience.

Start the excellent experience in to Kibale forests, home to fabulous chimpanzees in Africa. Witness other special primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, phoestes, and butterflies. Afternoon you will go for a nature walk to the Bigodi swamp- to see unique flora and fauna. Take in the ‘champagne air thereafter. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute. Witness the area’s incredible wildlife and thrilling game drives with your professional guides. DAY 6: Game Drive & Boat Cruise Experience.

Take on an early game drive where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and Kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park.

Afternoon enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Today’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests to discover this delicacy, the mountain gorillas in in this beautiful remote area. Discover a section of Ishasha, to sight the tree climbing lions as the sunrises. Afternoon relaxation with a pamper treatment at your Lodge.

DAY 8: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience.

Set and ready for gorilla meeting which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides and rangers Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Gorilla tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.

Afternoon leave your vehicles and explore the villages on foot. It is so exciting meeting the local people around Bwindi Forests and being part of their daily life, learning their lifestyle is a true and authentic experience. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

DAY 9: Return to Entebbe – Departure.

Take a flight from Bwindi- Kihihi airstrip, you may choose to catch up a morning flight or with the afternoon flight departing Bwindi back to Entebbe. Alternatively, get on a road transfer taking up to 9 hours through beautiful sightseeing in an exceptional experience.
