Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our driver-guide will pick you up upon arrival at the Airport to start your 2-day golden monkey tracking in Rwanda, with a comprehensive briefing of the tour highlights before a 2-3-hour journey to reach Musanze, where the park headquarters of Volcanoes National park. Upon your arrival, you will check into your lodge and have lunch. If weather permits, set out to enjoy the view of the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Return to the hotel.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking – Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Park headquarters, where you will meet fellow golden monkey trackers for a briefing that will enlighten you on the adventurous activity of Golden monkey tracking. Start the trek heading to where these golden creatures are located and spend an hour with them taking photos, learning their behaviors, and enjoying seeing them play with each other. After the trek, you will head to the lodge for lunch and then transfer back to Kigali city with a chance to do a Kigali city tour exploring the cultural heritage sites and iconic memorial centres like the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, the Kimironko fruit market, among others. You will also visit the craft market centers to purchase local souvenirs that you may need. Your 2-Day Golden Monkey Tracking Safari in Rwanda will ultimately end at the final drop-off at either your hotel in Kigali or at the airport for an evening flight departure.
