The 2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking tour starts and ends in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. This is one of the shortest gorilla tours that take tourists from Bwindi Forest and you will stay for one night in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is done according to the gorilla family allocated on your gorilla permit. Bwindi forest has over 10 habituated gorilla families that have been trained to get used to human visitors, these are the very families that visitors see when they go trekking. Once the visitors get in close contact with the gorillas, they are allowed one hour of staying with them as they see how the gorillas live their life in their natural habitat.

On the second and last day of the 2 days Bwindi gorilla trekking, you will have an early morning breakfast, and head for a briefing at the park headquarters. The briefing starts at 8:0am and you will be told about the dos and donts of the gorilla trek. After the briefing, you will begin the trek into the impenetrable jungles in searching for the endangered mountain gorillas. Gorilla tracking is unpredictable and therefore it is difficult to foresee how many hours it will take to find the great apes. The gorilla trek may take 2-8 hours, and you should be prepared to walk a long distance along steep hills and valleys as you view other features in the forest. You should carry a rain overhead, given that sometimes it may rain in the forest especially during the rainy season. For conservation purposes, the time allowed to be spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger will brief you on how to behave with these gentle giants. After the gorilla trek, embark on a return trip to Kigali. Our driver guide will drop you off at the hotel or airport.
