On this morning of the second day, you will drive through one of the beautiful sceneries of the Western side of Uganda overlooking coffee and banana plantations and this end will expose you to plenty of fresh fruits and vegetable markets, and indigenous Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns grazing along the road. Then you ascend into the Kigezi highlands with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your fast impression of the forest will be its almost audible silence but gradually; the whole ecosystem of millions of living organisms is watching and waiting for you. Dinner and overnight at Kitandara camp, Buhoma homestead, Engagi Lodge or Buhoma community Rest camp.

Early morning cup of coffee and we get ready with our packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and jungle boots, then you will assemble for briefing from the rangers about gorilla tracking the great adventure and experience! The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is unpredictable for it may take 4 to 10 hours so a reasonable degree of fitness is required. You sit in the forest among the gorillas listening to them grumble at each other and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male, the silverback. Dinner and overnight at Kitandara camp, Buhoma homestead, Engagi Lodge or Buhoma community Rest camp.

After an early breakfast, leave for Lake Mburo National Park situated in rolling hills and open grassy valleys. The afternoon boat ride or game drive. Here you may come across herds of Zebra, Cape buffalo, Topi, Eland are easy to approach. Along with the game drive, many visitors also enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo and self-guided nature trails. Bird watchers will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found in Lake Mburo. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp or Rwakobo camp.

After morning breakfast, go for the game drive giving you an opportunity to view zebra, buffalo, elands, and Topi, and then drive to Kampala with a stopover at the equator for photography and craft shopping.
