This 9 Days Rwanda Uganda Combined Tour is a super combo tour that will take you to enjoy the best of the best in Uganda and Rwanda starting from Kigali, Rwanda. On this tour, you visit popular destinations in Rwanda such as the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda for gorilla trekking and the golden monkey tracking activities, Visit Bwindi Impenetrable National park in Uganda for gorillas or forest walk, to Queen Elizabeth National park for game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, to Kibale National park for chimpanzee trekking and wetland walk before drive to Murchison Falls National park for game drives and a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, our guide will be waiting to welcome you to the Land of Thousand Hills, be briefed about the tour expectations and plans then we will set off for a tour in Kigali City guide who will drive you via the city of Kigali to the volcanoes National Park Time allowing, you will go for a nature walk around your lodge before retiring for dinner and overnight.

Wake up very early in the morning (as early as 04:30 am) to have an early breakfast and start your journey to the Park headquarters in Ruhengeri. This is a 2-3 hours journey, and we arrive here at around08:00 am to be briefed about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations. The gorilla trekking experience is a 1-6 hours exercise after which, you will be transferred to the lodge for your afternoon lunch and later be taken for a community nature walk and in the evening, you will have a retreat at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Hotel Muhabura or other similar hotels and lodges available.

After breakfast early in the morning, the 9 Days Rwanda Uganda tour continues with a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. We cross over from Rwanda to Uganda through Chanika Uganda Rwanda boarder and then drive to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Drive time: 3-4 hours depending on circumstances.

This is the most exciting day of your combined 10 Days Rwanda Uganda tour. After breakfast in the morning, we drive to the park headquarters for the pre gorilla trekking briefing. The briefing starts at 8:00 am where you will learn about Uganda gorilla trekking regulations. And then you will start walking and hiking in the impenetrable forest until you find the gorillas. For one hour you are allowed to watch these majestic giants, looking deep into the expressive brown eyes of these giants of the Bwindi Forest is surely the most exciting and moving wildlife encounter Africa has to offer.

Depending on the duration of the track you can either relax in the afternoon at the lodge and just enjoy the view or go for another walk around and explore the village or walk up to the highest football field with the best view ever. Also today, you will carry a packed lunch.

On this morning after enjoying the breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. Arrive in time for Lunch at the lodge and game drive in the plains of Kasenyi in search for savannah wildlife that may include herds of buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and if lucky, some wild cats such as lions and leopard.

This morning you will head to back to the plains of Kasenyi for a morning game drive to try to find what could have missed the previous day. Lunch will be served at the lodge and after you will head to the jetty along Kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances of viewing animals like; the hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and much more wildlife primates which flop the channel for drinking water.

After an early breakfast drive to the north of Queen Elizabeth National Park (Kasenyi area) ifor a wildlife game drive in search of animals such as; Elephants, Buffalos, and the wild cats, Savanna birds and deferent species of antelopes such water buck Uganda kobs among others. After lunch you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park arriving at your lodge in the evening.

After an early breakfast, we shall accompany you to Kibale Forest park headquarters where you will meet with other trekkers waiting to start the hike in search for the chimpanzees.  When you meet the chimps, you will enjoy seeing them with their families during their daily activities, getting them used to human presence without altering their natural behavior.

After morning breakfast, transfer to Kampala for your evening flight at Entebbe airport.
