Detailed Itinerary.

DAY 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by an Albertine Tours guide who will then take you to your hotel & overnight stay. Meal plan Dinner

Day 2: Transfer to Semuliki National Park.

Have an early breakfast and travel to Semuliki National Park approximately 7 to 8 hours on the road from Kampala. Have lunch along the way; later reach the park check in at the lodge. In the evening go for a night game drive through the park with high chance of seeing nocturnal animals. Your expectations should be high as you will have a great time when you meet different animals including leopards, big cats, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and lions among others. Day 3: Explore Semuliki National Park

After your delicious breakfast, set out and visit the Sempaya hot springs which are the most attention-grabbing attractions in Semuliki. These springs have a geyser that shoots up from the 8 meters hole, and the water is at a high temperature. The most interesting part about the springs is that one can boil Matooke(bananas) and eggs in the springs and the can get ready for eating n a few minutes. In fact this is the largest hot spring in Uganda.
Still along the trail where the hot springs are located you will be in line to see a number of birds such as the Blue breasted Kingfisher and various primates such as the red tailed monkeys, and the grey cheeked mangabey. Later proceed, to Mungilo waterfall where you will have an opportunity of seeing a number of beautiful birds and it will be a great time for a birder. There is also an opportunity of seeing/trekking chimpanzees but in this park they can be trekked either in the morning or evening because during the day they tend to hide.
Later, head back to the lodge and have lunch, unwind around the pool. In evening go for a game drive, Also crocodiles and Hippos will be seen along River Semuliki. Dinner and Overnight stay at:-Meal Plan: Break, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing en-route. Witness the area’s incredible wildlife and thrilling game drives with your professional guides. Evening game drive journey here takes you straight to the heart of some of the Uganda’s premier game-viewing tracks. The park is an exciting place for prestigious African Big 4. DAY 5: Full Day Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds.Dinner and Overnight stay at:-Meal Plan: Break, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 6: Queen Elizabeth-Ishasha sector

After breakfast head to southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in mid-morning for a game drive in Ishasha plains famous for tree climbing lions. It also offers you a classic game viewing experience under vast rift valley skies. Dinner and Overnight stay at:-Meal Plan: Break, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 7: Full Day Game Drive Ishasha

After your early breakfast, ready for a morning guided nature walk for wildlife viewing. After your lunch in the afternoon you will embark on an afternoon game drive for the tree climbing lions. Dinner and Overnight stay at:-Meal Plan: Break, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 8: Queen Elizabeth-Lake Mburo National Park.

After an early breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. This is the place for discerning travelers to get the closest encounter with nature. Evening sightseeing and relaxation at your lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at:-Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 9: Full Day Lake Mburo National Park

Begin your day with cup of coffee before you leave for a guided bush walk to the different areas of interest like the Nakivale wetland which is associated with fresh water and plains of seasonal floods which are permanent, this is an opportunity to see some animals as they graze and go back to their hiding places, this include Hippopotamus, Buffalos, antelopes, Common Warthog, Bushbuck and many more that are around the swamp drinking water.
You will return back to your lodge for a delicious lunch then take a boat ride amidst hippos and other aquatic life of different species ,crocodiles, birds including the rare shoebill, crested crane, pelicans, fish eagle, heron these are seen clearly while a boat safari. Dinner and Overnight stay at:-Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 10: Return to Kampala/Entebbe.

Have breakfast and go for an early morning horseback riding giving you a close contact with nature especially zebras, waterbucks, giraffes, elands and bushbucks among others. In the afternoon after your early lunch, drive back to Kampala & Entebbe for your outbound flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
